About SOPHIE

Sophie came to us from Yuma and has been in rescue a couple of months so we have learned a lot about her! She is a very sweet girl who is just looking for a warm lap and loving home. She is estimated 11-12 years old and is about 13 lbs. She has low vision (likely mainly shadows and shapes but definitely not totally blind) so would be best in a home without a pool or a gated pool and with an enclosed yard. She has gotten healthier while in foster and on a better eating routine and she recently got a dental cleaning. Sophie does walk (slowly) on leash, is mostly housetrained but of course will need adjustment to a new routine in her forever home. She also does fine in a crate but has very nice house manners. She has done fine in the car as she has gotten to make several out of town trips with her foster parents.
