About River

Hi My name is River. My mom DNA tested me I'm 25.2% supermutt, 18.5% American Pitbull Terrier,17.5% Labrador Retriever, 10.6% Chow chow,8.4% Weimaraner,8.4% German Shepard, 7.1% basset hound and 4.3% boxer. Now that you know what I'm made of lets talk about my story. Currently located in Douglas Ga,. Im a lover not a fighter. I want to be near people all the time. My mom adopted me from a rescue that was treating me for mange that was so bad I couldn't be recognized as a dog. I'm over that now I have a clean bill of health and I live with a sister dog named Girl Girl who is a pitt bull and is also up for adoption and I live with a cat. Mom is only having to look for homes for us because her and dad are divorcing and dad don't want us and mom cant take us with her and its killing her. I stay in an XL dog kennel during the day while mom and dad are at work and at night me,my sister dog and sister cat all sleep with mom in her bed. We are all fully housebroken and we are non aggressive. We do require slow introductions to new animals because we get a little over excited. I am the bestest girl you will ever meet, I'm just so happy to have a second chance at life, I really dont require much. I do like to be inside because it gets so dang hot outside, but I'm lazy youll find me laying on the couch , bed, floor, or my kennel a sleep most times. I dont know how to fetch like my sister does I know how to get the ball but if you threw it why would you want me to bring it back? Did I mention I have great house manners? I have super short hair.
