Happy #AdoptaShelterPetDay from Harvey :) Harvey is an incredibly friendly low-key #Shepsky Siberian Husky German Shepherd mix that arrived as a stray on 2/3/25, Harvey was seen roaming around for several days in the #LongBeach area and based on his injuries had a few encounters with some not-so-friendly dogs causing lacerations and bite punctures around his neck, ears, and shoulders ���%90 While the injuries were somewhat old and had signs of infection, Harvey thankfully saw good recovery... While his original physical appearance with half his face & neck shaved was preventing any direct adoption interest, he looks amazing now and still desperate to find a place to call home. The shelter asked for help when he first arrived since most members of the public likely found him 'ugly & undesirable'... yet Harvey is STILL available for rescue, adoption, or foster at the shelter.
