Tonka is a 4-year-old XL American Bully tipping the scales at 116 lbs of pure charm and character. This sweet, solid boy is the definition of a gentle giant-smart, independent, and affectionate without being needy. With a calm, observant nature, Tonka prefers watching the world go by from the front yard or on leisurely walks, where he pulls a little but mostly just sits and stares at passing dogs or cats with curiosity.�%A0�%A0 He hasn't had full introductions with the resident foster dogs yet but has tested well with larger dogs during his shelter days. Since he is so gentle and smart, he may be good with kids, but he has not met any yet. He's crate and house trained, enjoys his alone time, and has a goofy, cartoon-like expression that will keep you smiling. Tonka prefers durable toys over plush ones and brings just the right mix of playfulness and laid-back energy.
