About Ranger

Meet Ranger, a 8 year old male Border Collie. Ranger is is typical border collie who is playful and super smart. Ranger came to us after his owner passed away. He was loved but didn't get out too much. He was 1 of 4+ plus dogs and we think the dogs were left to their own devices. With this being said, Ranger can be nervous in public and is more of a homebody. RANGER IS GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS BUT needs to gain trust with them first. We would considereder him insecure resulting to him being reactive in public at times. Off leash, he is much more calm and at ease. He is otherwise aloof to other dogs. Ranger's ideal home would be: -a home where he can be a priority -a home experienced with border collies or other herding breeds -owners that are understanding of his sensitives in pubic and manage him accordingly -would be best suited in a home as a home body Ranger is a fun loving border collie but he also has an off switch! He is perfectly happy relaxing on the couch hanging out with his owners. He also loved his foster brothers and sisters!! Ranger will make his people very happy but they also need to be understanding of his background and manage his environment. Ranger is; fully house trained, has good house manners, and is easy to live with. He also has some basic training under the right circumstances. Ranger is is neutered, up-to-date and microchipped.
