About Roman

Adorable lover boy Roman is now 4mo old and weighs about 14lbs. He is becoming a long legged, lanky boy so he should be about 25lbs or so when he's full grown. He is the perfect size for long walks, hiking and then cuddling. He loves to be a lap dog. He is doing awesome in his foster home, but he's ready for his own forever home. Roman is a little timid when first meeting and he is somewhat submissive, although he quickly wiggles and asks for cuddles and attention. After just a few minutes he also shows you what a curious, silly puppy he is. He is very gentle so an easy going home that will help continue to build his confidence is a must. Another dog in the home to run and play with in a securely fenced yard would also be best. He even gets along great with the kitties. He is still very young so he needs basic training, although he's learning his manners very quickly. He is already house and crate trained and now his foster mom is working on his leash training. He loves everyone so school age kids in the home would be great. Because of his young age, he should not be left alone for more than 4-5hr intervals. Although he us not yet neutered, his surgery is scheduled in a couple of weeks and will be covered by K9rr.
