About Valentine

Valentine needs your help! This is my last attempt at finding her a forever home. Our time is up and I have run out of resources. Valentine, along with 5 of her brothers and sisters were found, abandoned, in a ditch on February 13th, 2025. They appear to be lab and shepherd mix and were estimated to be around 8/9 weeks old at the time. They are now approximately 17/18 weeks old. They have been in my care since February 13th. I found homes for four(4) siblings and ran out of luck with the last two. I simply cannot continue to care for them, but I thought I would give one last attempt to find her and her brother a home. Please help me, help them. They are up to date on their shots and received their rabies round last week. They both play well with our 2 yr Golden Female and 11 year Husky Male, and love being near my daughters, ages 5 and 9. I have not attempted to mingle them with other animals or people. They have made our family their pack and bark quite a bit if they see a neighbor get close to our back fence so I cannot confirm if they would be immediately friendly outside our home. I am hopeful that they will adjust to any home as they have ours. They give the best kisses, hugs, and love to cuddle at bedtime. Although, they are FULL of energy and it takes a moment for them to settle into bed. Both are healthy eaters and we, including my daughters, have worked closely with them to try to prevent any food aggression. They are also housebroken and trained to sit and wait. They do jump more than expected and I am doing what I can to encourage better behaviors. They need more dedicated time, and I simply do not have enough time in the day.
