Baxter A739620 16 Month Old Male German Shepherd Akita Mix URGENT Needs Rescue By 05/03/25 Baxter is an approximately 16-18 month old male German Shepherd Akita mix that was found by a member of the public as a stray on the night of 4/18/25 and taken to an off-site urgent care center due to signs of rear leg trauma. Upon arrival Baxter was medically examined and diagnosed with an old hind right leg tibia/fibula fracture, causing intermittent right hind leg lameness. Due to high risk of additional medical concerns if left untreated, it is highly recommended Baxter receives amputation to his hind right leg.
