About Athena

Needing to rehome my sweet girl. It is what is best for her. Athena is such a pretty girl who loves bones & treats. She is a 3 year old Cattle Dog Mix. She enjoys lots of attention & cuddles. She would do better with a house with no dogs, or a dog bigger than her. She does get along with all dogs, but she is more comfortable around dogs larger than her. We are having to rehome her because she needs more attention and time than we can provide. She is a runner when taken off leash, she will come back when she is ready. She can also jump a 6 foot fence. She love farm animals and playing with them. She does like her own space, she will go in her crate and sleep. She has some crate anxiety. She would need someone to work on that with her. Athena is very smart, but stubborn. She would do good being a farm dog, with no one to bother (neighbors). She is not aggressive but is hesitant about bigger men. She was poorly treated by a man in her past home. She has come such a long way, is still unsure of unfamiliar men. But, warms up quick. She is very curious and loves car rides. She is such a good girl in the car. She bonds with woman very quickly, so hoping to find a couple, or a woman to home her. She has completed her 1st round of shots, and documentation.
