About Mini Man

Mini Man is just that - a compact, small little fella, who is an absolute sweetheart! He absolutely loves his people, and will start purring the second he sees you. He loves playing with his ribbon wand toy, and never gets bored of playing. He has the most adorable habit of putting his paw in your hand affectionately. Bonus points - he's incredibly cute with gorgeous coloring and eyes! He will be someone's very best friend! Mini Man was formally a community cat that my husband and I took care of on our porch. We think he is 3-4 years old and we've cared for him for about a year and a half, including getting him fixed and vaccinated. When some bad storms hit this January, we brought him inside to keep him safe. Once inside, it was clear he wanted to stay and loved the indoor life! We've seen him interact very positively with other cats when he lived outside, so feel very confident that he would really love to have other cats in the household. We have introduced him to small dogs, and while he is nervous around them, we think he could probably adjust to small dogs if they don't bark much. Homes with big dogs, high energy dogs, dogs with a prey drive, or dogs that like to bark a lot are not a good fit. He is positive for FIV, but is very healthy with no known health issues, and as you likely know, FIV does not need to shorten kitties' lifespans. I'm happy to talk with you about FIV if you'd like to learn more. The only super important things to note are that it may be best to keep him with other FIV+ cats (not mandatory, but safest) and he should always be kept inside full-time for his safety.
