BDRA is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charity that accepts no fees when helping individuals or other rescues. 100% of donations go directly to the care of the animals. If you'd like to help us continue our mission, please donate at: https://www.blinddogrescue.org/donate-1. Name: Dahlia Age: @ 2 years Breed: Mexican Mixed Breed, 25 pounds Sex: Female (Spayed) Location: Sullivan City, Texas Vet Info: Dahlia was abused and lost her eye due to that abuse. Other eye has issues as well (possibly from same abuse). She is not current on vaccinations, has not had a heartworm test. Was possibly vetted in Mexico at some point but not since she has been in Texas. Dog Info: Dahlia was rescued from an abusive situation in Mexico. She is very nervous and skittish and will need someone with a lot of patience with her. She is good with male dogs but does not do well with female dogs or any small dogs. She would do best with another dog to keep her company. She is currently living with 7 other dogs. She has not shown aggression and is not possessive with treats, toys or food. **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them. These dogs are with their owners and are not in BDRA foster homes. We do our best to screen these dogs, but make no guarantees regarding the information posted.** Please email [email protected] if you are interested in this sweetheart. Please know that we will ask for a vet reference.
