About Mercy

This is my sweetheart Mercy. She's 6 years old, not spayed. In full transparency, she is aggressive towards other dogs and cats, and has shown aggression towards small children, and I would not chance her with older children or teenagers either. She would need to go to a home with no other pets or children, with a fully secure backyard. She does wear an E-collar to help manage her behavior issues. It is my belief that if she found a good home with someone who could put in the time and love to train her, she would thrive and be an excellent lifelong companion. She is very sweet and affectionate with us and has never been aggressive with us, but she has attacked her housemate on several occasions. She has shown food aggression/resource guarding with her housemate, but has never been aggressive when we have petted her during meals. She's very loving and playful and likes to run and play outdoors, however she has been destructive with furniture and toys and blankets. She's a big snugglebug and I love her very very much, but we cannot keep her due to her aggression towards her housemate. I am praying for her to find a new loving home where she can be happy and loved, otherwise we may have to resort to euthanasia.
