About Dixe

Dixie came to us via the police. An officer acquaintance brought her because she was dumped with her siblings and mom. Everyone has found homes but her and her brother who are a little over a year old. Both need forever homes. Our shelters and rescues are full here, which is why they are still with me. I'm having neck surgery and they are too high energy for my post operative recovery which will last months. She can be destructive if she gets bored, but she listens well, house and crate trained. Great with other dogs, cats and kids. She just needs someone who can match her energy. She is funny, silly and gives some seriously impressive stink eye when told no. I'm devastated that I can't keep her.
