found a terrified heeler mix hiding from the loud traffic on a busy street while I was at work last week. I couldn't leave her there; she was tucked in a corner looking around confused and scared. I looked for an owner, there was no one around. I was able to put a leash on her and get her away from the busy street. I found she is a timid but friendly girl; I am guessing about a year old because her teeth are very white. She absolutely loves people I took her in for the night, but I have other dogs that are little and don't like other dogs, so it was very difficult to have her at my home. I have been searching for the owner without luck, in all honestly I believe she may have belonged to a homeless person by the location and her condition and temperament. I took her to Fresno Animal Center, I wanted to give the owner a chance to find her, so she is there now on her 72 hour hold, however since they would not guarantee they wouldn't euthanize her I paid a deposit for her to guarantee they don't. So after her spay they are supposed to call me to let me know I can come get her, but I can't adopt her with my dogs, so I am reaching out to you for help. I am working hard to find her a good home, she is the sweetest dog.
