About Nessie

Meet Nessie a 2 yr old Boston terrier / mutt. I do not know what she is mixed with but she isn't a purebred Boston. She is a love bug and wants to be with you whenever she can. This is the important part: yes she does get along with other dugs UNTIL she deems something is hers and she will defend it. The fancy term is resource guarding. Whatever she thinks is hers she will defend with lethal measures. The first time it was over a cookie, OK, maybe you have gone hungry in the past. Next time it was over a rock in the yard. This last time it was over a hole the mastiff dug in the yard. She would do best where she was the only dog in the family so she doesn't feel the need to guard 'her' items.
