About Duke

Duke is a highly intelligent pure bread German Shepherd, that is exceptionally handsome! Duke loves the outdoors and really needs outdoor activity. He thrives on having a ball thrown to him. He loves the water as well as land. Duke is 6 1/2, but still has a lot of energy. He walks on a leash, but he does pull. Duke sleeps inside and is crate trained. He has lived with a cat and another dog. He is a dominant male, so he is not the best with dogs that he doesn't know unless a ball is being thrown - and then his focus is on the ball. The only negative; about Duke is that he is somewhat protective toward outsiders;. He is fine with a person once it is known that he is safe. We are rehoming Duke because we are moving overseas and cannot take him with us.
