About Ted E.

Meet Ted E! Ted is smart, loyal, and looking for his furever home! Ted E. is a handsome, clever guy with a big heart - and an even bigger love for peanut butter. This trainable pup (about a year old) thrives on routine, enjoys strolls through the neighborhood, and gets along well with other dogs. He's mostly housetrained, loves learning new things, and has a goofy, endearing side that shines when he's with the people (and pups) he trusts. That said, Ted E. is still a work in progress. He's had a rough start, and it shows in his fear of new people, anxiety when left alone, and some resource guarding behavior. He may 'mouth' when he gets excited and isn't a fan of being crated (but tolerates it daily), so he'll need a patient, experienced adopter who understands canine body language and is committed to helping him feel safe. Ted E. would do best in a calm, adult-only home with a securely fenced yard and someone around most of the time - especially in the beginning. In the right environment, this sensitive soul has the potential to blossom into an incredibly loyal and loving companion.
