About James

This Mother and puppies were found abandoned under a manufactured home scheduled for demolition. The mom made several dirt pits underneath the house to keep her babies in. We did not know the last time the mother had eaten; she was so skinny. We did not want the family to be separated and all the shelters are full, so we took them in temporarily until we could find them a better home. James is reserved more reserved than his sisters. He is the only boy in the litter. He enjoys chasing you around outside, and when he gets tired, he wants to find a dark, cool, and cozy area to fall asleep. He is not aggressive, very timid. But he is vocal if he is not pleased. He will let you know if he has to go potty. He does NOT like being in the kennel or alone, for that mater. Just been weaned off breast milk, we have fed him Purina Dry Dog food Real Chicken soaked in water to make soft for his developing teeth. We also fed him oatmeal and banana. We give lots of water as well.
