About Lady Bug

Lady is being returned after hurting their other dog. Read all this & decide if u would foster as we find her perfect home: Lady Bug is a 13 year old, 24. Lb beagle.Her perfect home would understand her love of running laps in the backyard to follow mystery trails, taking breaks to dip her paws in a kiddie pool or lay in the shade before continuing her self-driven adventure. She loves a good nap in the sun or on the couch, or right in bed next to you. She is a lady's dog, but will happily enjoy pets from dog dads too! Lady Bug is crate trained, sleeping through the night. She will bark to alert you to go out. She currently lives with a family who has an adult at home, so is used to going in/out as she pleases. She is trained to ring a bell at the door. Lady Bug walks very well on a lead, comes when called. Lady Bug has been around cats, free roaming chickens, ducks, rabbits, Guinea pigs with no issue. She has been around children of all ages. When sleeping, it is best not startle or jostle her as she will bark/growl. She is an old lady with an unknown past & deserves to feel safe while resting. Lady Bug has been a wonderful office dog, entertaining the office with her snoring. Lady Bug has also visited the beach & enjoyed digging up smelly things & putting her toes in the waves. The woods obviously being a favorite spot. She has done well in dog friendly stores & visiting family friends. Lady Bug prefers male dogs. She currently shares her home with a spayed female but now does not do well. She has played wonderfully with an altered male dog. Now, it may be best if she is the only dog in the home. Being a beagle,Lady Bug is an independent thinker & will happily use all available resources to reach food left out on the counter, or tables. She is a character & has shown no food aggression.
