About Casper

Casper is a 5 year-old schnauzer/terrier mix who is available for adoption in NJ or NY. He was surrendered to NYC ACC when his only owner was evicted. Casper did not acclimate well to the shelter. He was locked in a cage for most of the day. The shelter threatened to euthanize this precious boy and Garden State Utopia rescued him. Casper is now looking for an experienced adopter who will be loving and patient. Casper weighs 31 lbs and has a wiry coat. He loves to fetch balls and he loves squeaky toys. After playing, Casper would like to join you on the sofa to snuggle and get his belly rubs. He can be possessive of his toys and his blanket. It is understandable because he lost everything when he lost his home. Casper bonds very quickly to anyone who shows him kindness and attention. This adorable scruffy boy wants to be loved.
