About Ginger

This Mother and puppies were found abandoned under a manufactured home scheduled for demolition. The mom made several dirt pits underneath the house to keep her babies in. We did not know the last time the mother had eaten; she was so skinny. We did not want the family be separated and all the shelters are full, so we took them in temporarily until we could find them a better home. Ginger is rambunctious and eager to play. We call her Ginger, but she reminds you of Nala from the Lion King. Feeding her puts her right to sleep, and she enjoys sleeping next to you. Almost potty pad trained. Does not like kennels. Loves bananas and bones to chew on. Just been weened off breast milk, we have fed her Purina Dry Dog food Real Chicken soaked in water to make soft for her developing teeth. We also have fed her oatmeal and banana. We give lots of water as well.
