About Jax

Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Rogers, AR *This dog doesn't belong to ASF and hasn't been evaluated by ASF.* Meet Jax! He is a 6-year-old Australian Shepherd/Kangal mix and weighs 80 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn't on heartworm prevention. Jax is hostile around strangers! He needs slow and proper introductions. He is good with dogs! He hasn't been tested around cats. No children, because he needs an adult-only and calm home! Jax bit an irrigation salesman after he was in their backyard giving them a quote. The owner's younger son let him out of the kennel without knowing the irrigation salesman was still in their backyard. The owner is surrendering him because he is protective of their family. They are unable to provide the training that he needs. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Jax, please contact the owner listed below.
