About Melo

I am looking to rehome our almost 1 year old Pitbull terrier, Melo. We have had him 4 months. Melo is an amazing family dog, is potty trained and up to date with all his shots. He needs to be in a single dog home as he has resource guarding behaviors with our other dog which result in hard to manage behaviors between them both. He does fine with other dogs on walks. We have consulted the vet who confirms he should be rehomed. Despite the recommendation we still consulted a behaviorist to see if there is any additional help. While they confirmed resource guarding and gave some training tips, we have 6 children and can't risk these behaviors that may or may not get better. He is an amazing family dog and has so much potential. He is crate trained and potty trained and has done well with his training so far as he is highly motivated by food. He loves to snuggle and have that close contact with all his humans who he adores. �ٴ� we are willing to travel to bring him to a home that would be his forever home.
