About Kita

Kita is a super sweet Shiba Inu. She is black and tan, 13' tall, spayed and 18 pounds. We rescued Kita from her original owners who said she was Cat compatible. She is not (although perhaps with a kitten she could be socialized but we have a senior cat). She is good with our other female dog, but does resource guard at times with toys and treats. She is fine at feeding time, but we have the dogs separated by a cabinet and the older dog gets fed first. She needs daily walks (f possible) and a fenced yard - she is high energy and needs to have an outlet. A halo collar would be helpful because Shiba's are known to bolt, which she has on two occasions. We are sad that we have to re-home her, but we cannot stop her aggression toward our senior Cat.
