About Lannister

Meet Lannister !! This little guy is so cute and sweet. He is super loving and ready to find his forever home. He adores his humans and is the greatest thing. Lannister is an approx. 11 month old male poodle mix. He weighs 11.5 pounds. He is a little on the thin side so he should probably be closer to 13-15 pounds at normal weight He will be neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines as part of his adoption. He is thankfully heartworm negative and on monthly preventions. Lannister is a great little guy. It took him a few mins to adjust to new people and then he is all over you. He loves people. He loves to show you how good he can do 'sit' and get some treats for his cool trick. He is a very playful and active guy so not a typical lap dog but he does like to cuddle with you when it's time to relax. He has been around dogs of all sizes and ages and has done very well. He hasn't been around cats so we aren't sure how he would do but probably fine. He loves all of the kids he has met and is fostered with child that he is great with. He will need to be with kids that do not treat him like a toy. He does jump up on people and kids when excited but is pretty gentle about it. Lannister has been great on car rides. He is crate trained and so far has not been vocal at all in the crate. He's been doing well with his leash training. He is mostly potty trained. He does decent with basic potty training when taken out regularly but he does still mark his territory. His upcoming neuter should help with that. He has a medium energy level. He has a lot of energy for playing with you and other dogs. Once hes had some good playtime he becomes very cuddly and will relax on or beside you on the couch. He will need someone to provide him proper exercise as he is not the type to just lay on the couch all day. Lannister has not shown any issues with people or other dogs about sharing his food, treats or toys. He is a very sweet natured boy. We really like this little guy. He has a super sweet personality. He's a good mix of chill and play. He is all about living his best life and really seems to be enjoying all the new experiences he has had while being fostered. A really great choice for your next best friend. ��|��%8FHe will need regular grooming. This requires time to get him to and from the appointments and additional expenses to pay for it. On average a dog of this breed will need grooming every 6 weeks. This should be fully considered prior to applying to adopt him. ��|��%8F Vet and home checks required. Located in Hampton VA.
