About Brahms

Dear fellow Beagle lovers , I am writing the following email with a heavy heart, as Mr. Brahms, our sweet beagle has been in our family the past 7 years. Unfortunately we need to find another good home for our beagle because of the following reasons. My name is Iryna, and about 8 years ago my dear brother was diagnosed with schizophrenia. As a way to help him be more responsible and get him out of the house, his therapist recommended for us to get him a dog. We purchased Brahms 7 years ago from a nice Upper West Side store as a puppy, not knowing that my brother will not be able to take care of him, so my mom became the main caregiver for Brahms as she and my brother live together. Recently our father passed away and this has cause many changes in our life. I live in Brooklyn with a one year old daughter and my mother and brother will be moving out of Staten Island, my mom has also been feeling very weak and cannot have the responsibility and continue to take care of Brahms. Unfortunately my brother has not been helping this whole time and between cooking the meals, walking and cleaning all the dog hair she is spent. Plus with my dad passing, she needs to process and regroup. I cannot take the sweet beagle into our house, as such I am reaching out to see if you could help in any way.
