Rehoming Billie, which breaks my heart a bit as she is an absolute sweetheart. She is a Staffy/American Bully mix, and is 1 year & 5 months old. Due to some recent changes in my life (divorce, career and personal), I believe rehoming her would be a benefit for both of us. A bit about her: %BD' House trained %BD' Up-to-date on shots %BD' Does well with kids and other animals. I used to have a 7-year old husky and they got along great, and she has stayed at Rovers with 5+ dogs and had a blast. I have a cat who usually hates dogs, but they coexist peacefully. %BD' Billie is a lover and will want to be by your side all the time. %BD' She is treat motivated and listens well without distractions. With distractions (I.e. other dogs on walks), she has improved her listening dramatically. %BD' She does very well in the car %BD' Fast learner: She has learned not to dig, not to get on the bed, and commands like sit, stay and lay down with minimal training. %BD' Get very excited when new people come over. She will jump and flop over, and is fairly strong. She has only done this with adults and has been very gentle with children. %BD' Working on walking by other dogs. She wants to go play with them and pulls towards them. This can be corrected by making her sit and kneeling in front of her, but it can be a jolt if not anticipated. %BD' Has 2 modes: very energetic or very sleepy. %BD' Believes she is a lap dog. Please let me know if you are interested in providing a loving home for Ms. Billie! She is a great companion. I want to make absolutely sure she is going to a good home as she has been by my side through some rough times in the 10 months I have had her.
