About Addie

Hello there, my name is sweet Addie and I'm in an Alabama shelter waiting... Really, it's just Addie, but for some reason everyone says, 'sweet Addie.' I'm 2 years old and although my traits are very GSP, I've been told that I'm a pointer mix. Let me tell you a little about myself�'�| I love other dogs and I'm afraid of cats (don't tell my dog friends�'�| it's a bit embarrassing). I'm healthy, a good weight of 48 lbs. and I'm up to date on all my vaccines and spayed. Personality? You bet I have personality! I LOVE everyone (even the smaller humans) and as I've said, am a sweet and gentle girl. I'm playful (I'm 2 years old, so�'�|) but also calm. Let me explain�'�| the shelter staff says I have medium to low energy in the shelter. But who knows, once I have a fenced yard to play in, that might change to high energy outside and low energy inside. I enjoy walks, am great on a leash and my favorite thing to do during my walks is to roll in leaves or grass and to lay upside down so that I get belly rubs (so glad I figured that trick out). I'm very affectionate so I'm searching for a family that would like to give me love. My nickname at the shelter is Lyrical Addie because one of my talents is singing (I'm really just trying to get your attention). There's so much more to 'me' but I don't want you to miss the most important thing�'�| I've been at this shelter for about 6 months. And don't get me wrong, the staff here is awesome, but I'm so sad that I haven't found my family yet.
