About Baxter

Baxter is the sweetest pup. He will be two in August. It is with a heavy heart that I am looking for a new home. He loves other dogs, big and small, and plays well with all dogs. He is also loves cats and loves to try snuggling with them. He loves to play, great with kids or adults, but he does get excited and can know over a little kid because he doesn't know his own size. I am totally to blame for not researching Australian Shepherds or Bernese Mountain dogs. I underestimated his energy, his boredom (which has caused him to be destructive), and dealing with a dog who sheds because of an undercoat. He is an INSIDE dog only, but does like playing at dog parks or out in the backyard. I just want him to have the best life he can have. I will ask for a rehoming fee and you must have references (including a vet who will need to vouch for you). I will thoroughly research any person who is interested to make sure he finds a loving family that will give my boy the life he deserves. We live in the Irvington area on the Eastside of Indianapolis. Thank you.
