About Roxen

Adoption Fee: $500
Corgi
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Roxen is 8 years old. He has been with me since he was 2 months old, I am the sole owner. Roxen is a complicated dog. He has diagnosed with severe allergies since he was a year old. He is on steroid medication daily for him to be somewhat comfortable. Because of the steroids he has intense thirst and would need potty breaks throughout the day. So would be a good fit with someone who works from home or a senior retired couple. I am looking to rehome him due his intolerance to my 1 year old son. Roxen has been jealous of my son since we brought him home from the hospital. Roxen has been used to me and my husbands sole attention and now with the baby walking we are worried for my son's safety. Roxen has not bitten my son but has growled at guests when holding my son when he does not receive attention. Roxen is not a bad dog, he is incredibly sweet. His allergies make him 'edgy' I get it he is itchy and unfortunately uncomfortable most of the time. He has a dermatologist in my area that we take him to when needed. Roxen has been in a cone 7 years on and off of his life. Even with the medication Roxen will lick is paws raw. Because of this he is considered 'special needs'. I don't want to take him to the pound , but with my son starting to walk it would be better if he could live out the rest of his years with someone who can give him the attention that I can't. I put $500 but I am willing to lower the fee as long as he goes to a good home. I have tons of pictures with him and can go into detail more in person or on the phone. Thank you for reading!
