Max is a stunning blue merle Australian Shepherd, and is the perfect mix of smarts, sweetness, and playful energy. This handsome, loyal�%A0gentleman�%A0loves being close to his people. He's house-trained, knows basic commands, and listens well-especially when there's a treat or some praise involved! As a working breed, Max is eager to learn and would thrive with continued training and enrichment. Rare for Aussies, Max is not hyper or high-strung. His energy level is a manageable medium, making him a great companion for walks, games of fetch, and cozy evenings by your side. He's non-reactive and friendly with other dogs, making him a great fit for homes with social�%A0lifestyles and/or other canine companions. Max is also good with kids, and while he's not currently 100% reliable with cats (sometimes calm, sometimes tempted to herd or chase), that's pretty typical for an Aussie. With the right guidance, he could potentially learn to coexist peacefully-or would be just as happy in a feline-free home. Max is still working on his leash manners (he gets excited and pulls), but with his smarts and eagerness to please, he should be a quick learner. With a little patience and training, this boy could truly become your dream dog. Max is ready to be your loyal sidekick and adventure buddy...now all he needs is a forever family to love him just as much as he'll love them!
