About AUGIE- Urgent!!

Augie, #A2032474, is in a high kill shelter in Los Angeles, CA & has now been put on the Urgent List! Dogs on this list will end up on the Euthanasia List soon!! Always excited to get out of his kennel. He's been out in several shelter playgroups, notes range from a gentle/dainty play style to more assertive, depending on the day or group he's in. Seems he generally does better with female dogs. Augie has been at the shelter since May 2022. He was adopted and returned citing he was too much to handle and perhaps had some stranger danger insecurities. Notes are vague. Always good to go slow, research bringing home a new shelter dog, provide structure and guidance, and give them the chance to decompress. Augie is around 8 years old and probably around 87 lbs. All LAAS animals come spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on all their shots (including rabies).
