About Moxie

Moxie is an American Pitbull Terrier and all the things her name implies. She has such an energetic personality and is very sassy. She likes to talk back and will definitely let you know that her life isn't as cushy as you might think with her huffs and puffs. She's about 4 years old and is mom's shadow, but loves her dad and the boys. She loves kids, but we do tend to kennel her when little ones are over because we can't seem to break the jump and tackle habits. Her kennel is her safe place and where she'll go if she feels overwhelmed. We typically leave it open. Socializing her with other dogs has been challenging. She gets so excited that they generally seem to dislike her high energy and she seems to not quite grasp social cues. I'm sure she needs better training than we could provide. She has 3 brother cats. She's more fond of them than they are of her. She likes to be tucked in for bed and has her own comforter. She can tuck herself in but much prefers for you to do it. She has her two favorite toys, bed, blanket, kennel, and dog run that she would love to take with her.
