About Veruca

*Courtesy post Meet Veruca Veruca is a beautiful 1.5-2-year-old girl who is ready to find her forever home. Currently living at Pinal County Animal Care and Control in Casa Grande, Veruca is incredibly stressed in the kennel environment and is in urgent need of a loving foster or adoptive home. She recently had the chance to go on a much-needed walk outside the shelter, and she was an absolute star. While she was excited at first and pulled a bit, she quickly settled into a nice steady pace. Veruca loves affection and leaned into every pet she received. She sat politely for treats and took them gently, showing her sweet and respectful nature. Veruca did not react to other dogs walking nearby, but if you have another dog at home, a proper introduction at the shelter is always recommended. Her compatibility with kids and cats is currently unknown. This girl would make an amazing adventure buddy-whether it's hiking, running, or just exploring the world with her favorite human.
