Background: Bear's Current Shepherd Parent rescued Bear about 1 year ago from the shelter. His mom is now fostering Bear until a Furever Home is found. NOT UTD on shots WITHOUT record. Fixed. UNKNOWN with kids. Good with dogs if slowly and properly introduced. PROPER INTRODUCTION IS A MUST. Good with cats, lives with an indoor cat and leaves the indoor cat alone but does chase cats outside. House trained. Crate trained. DO NOT CRATE OR CONFINE! No known medical issues. ABUSE HISTORY! This poor guy was forced to live in a crate before he was rescued and has some of his teeth missing from chewing on the crate and trying to escape. Currently on 'Pedigree Grilled Steak and Vegetable' food. Weighs 90 lbs. OK with car rides, likes to be in the front seat. Loves: attention - playing - belly rubs - cuddling - chilling on the couch - balls - going on walks - squeaky toys - playing fetch - rough housing - treats - being brushed - ear scratches - belly rubs - being praised. Personality: very friendly. Loyal. This sweet boy needs an amazing home ASAP. He is very intelligent and knows Basic Commands. He is good on a leash. He is very loving and affectionate. A quick learner. He is good with meeting new people. The Current Shepherd Foster needs to re home Bear because she is moving and cannot take him. Her son was in the military and rescued Bear from a shelter about a year ago. Her son now lives with his girlfriend and they are not allowed to have Bear with them, so his mom is fostering Bear until his Furever Home is found. Bear will thrive best in a great loving home who will RESPECT his age, routine and Abuse History and agree to work with him to allow him to Free Roam in the home and NOT to be crated or confined. Bear will make a great companion for the right person. Comes with: collar, leash, bed, bowls.
