About Charlie

Meet Charlie! Isn't he precious? Charlie is a 10-yr old Lab mix, who was recently adopted from a Southern California high-kill shelter by a wonderful man who regularly saves the lives of large senior dogs and spoils them rotten. He has a very calm demeanor and enjoys short walks and laying in the sun. He likes the outdoors but should live inside with his owner as part of the family. Charlie is fine with adult humans and older children (8+) but young kids would probably overwhelm him. He gets along well with the calm dogs with whom he currently lives, but there is one dog that acts aggressively towards him and makes him nervous, which is why his owner would like to find him a new home where he is comfortable and loved. He is a healthy guy and not on any medications, but definitely benefits from joint supplements to help keep him going. If you are looking for a companion to hang out with you on the porch or snuggle on the couch watching TV, Charlie is your guy. Please consider adopting him, he is a wonderful boy.
