About Bruce

Bruce, our lovable companion, became a part of our family when we adopted him from the NE Humane Society at just 8 months old. Now 7 years old, Bruce has grown into a kind-hearted and loyal dog who is truly the center of our world. He's a true example of what unconditional love looks like. From day one, Bruce has been an energetic and affectionate part of our family, always eager to join us wherever we go. Whether it's a trip to the park or a cozy evening at home, he's always by our side, ready for adventure-or simply to snuggle up on the couch. Bruce gets along with all people and is a total cuddle bug. If you're looking for a dog who will shower you with affection, Bruce is your guy! However, as he's aged, Bruce has shown a bit more wariness around other dogs. While he's still friendly with humans, he would thrive in a home where he's the only dog. He's happy to have all the attention to himself and enjoys being the sole focus of his family. Bruce is well-behaved, too! He loves going on walks, is leash trained, and is obedient with basic commands. He's also incredibly food motivated, which makes him a joy to train-whether it's for new tricks or helping out in the kitchen (Bruce is particularly skilled at 'helping' with fruit and veggie prep!). His enthusiasm for life is contagious, and he brings joy to every moment. As much as we adore Bruce, our current schedule doesn't allow us to spend as much time with him as he deserves. That's why we're hoping to find a loving home where he can receive the constant companionship and attention he thrives on. Bruce would do best in a home with people who are around often, offering him the time, love, and care that he deserves. Bruce is an exceptional dog-sweet, loyal, and full of personality.
