Looking for a Special Home for a Special Dog! Meet Tyson, a striking 3-year-old German Shepherd with a big heart and a brilliant mind. Tyson is currently living on a farm, but spends most of his day in a kennel while his person is away at work and sport. As much as he's loved, it's clear he needs a home where he can get more time, stimulation, and freedom to thrive. Smart, Loyal & Full of Energy: Tyson is incredibly intelligent and forms a strong bond with his person. He's happiest when he has a job to do and a person to be near. He loves to go running, thrives on mental stimulation, and would do best with someone who can match his energy and working-dog drive. Training, enrichment games, or just a purposeful walk - he's all in. Potty Trained & Home-Ready: He's fully potty trained and well-behaved inside the home. Best as an Only Dog: Tyson currently lives peacefully with a female dog but has shown reactivity toward unfamiliar dogs. Because of this, we believe he would do best as the only dog in the home. No dog parks, and no small animals, please. What Tyson Needs: Someone with German Shepherd or working dog experience A home where he isn't alone for long hours A commitment to keeping his mind and body engaged A person who understands that this is a deeply loved dog, and who is willing to share what Tyson's daily life would look like in their care While Tyson has the space of a farm, he chooses to stay close to his person. With proper training, he does not wander off and is incredibly people-focused. Tyson is not just being given away - he is deeply loved and will only be rehomed to someone who truly understands his needs and is prepared to make him part of their life.
