Bear was seen with three other dogs in a remote area on the Southeast side of Bakersfield. The following day, he was spotted again, this time with one of the dogs, an Australian Shepherd we named Scout, near the Arco Station on Taft Highway. They had traveled quite a distance from their original location, raising our concerns due to the heavy traffic on the highway. Fortunately, we were able to secure both dogs, who were unfortunately infested with ticks. Despite their condition, we felt relieved to have rescued them from the dangers of speeding vehicles. Bear is an incredibly friendly and sociable dog who gets along well with his fellow canines. He walks nicely on a leash and is quick to respond to commands, showcasing his attentive nature. We are confident that Bear would make a devoted and affectionate companion for anyone ready to welcome him into their home.
