About SCOUT

Scout was seen with three other dogs in a remote area on the Southeast side of Bakersfield. The following day, he was spotted again, this time with one of the dogs we named Bear, near the Arco Station on Taft Highway. They had traveled quite a distance from their original location, raising our concerns due to the heavy traffic on the highway. Fortunately, we were able to secure both dogs, who were unfortunately infested with ticks. Despite their condition, we felt relieved to have rescued them from the dangers of speeding vehicles. Scout is sociable with other dogs, though he tends to be a bit shy around people. He walks well on a leash and is attentive to commands. With a little love and care, Scout would undoubtedly thrive in a new home with someone ready to adopt him.
