About Everleigh

Lab / Pit Bull
Age: Senior
Sex: Female

girl from Saugus desperately needs a foster or permanent home as soon as possible. Everleigh has a sweet personality and is a dream companion. Her favorite things to do are snuggle, go on car rides, and take walks. She's an easy-going and loyal dog who doesn't require much more than being with her person. She loves to love her person! Her breeds are educated guesses of black lab and bully and she weighs about 60 pounds. What's astonishing is her age. Based on her health, teeth, shiny coat, and lack of gray hair, it's hard to believe she is 10-years-old. Talk about great genes! For napping and beauty sleep, which she is quite fond of, Everleigh would thoroughly enjoy a nice quiet space of her own. Like a contortionist, she can squeeze herself into any size dog bed. She is housetrained, spayed, and UTD on vaccinations. She will go in a crate, but doesn't care for them. Luckily she doesn't really need one since she's a good girl who respects her home. Everleigh is available for adoption because her family could no longer keep her. Like humans, dogs get upset when their world changes suddenly. She may look serious in photos, but she's already growing very fond of her foster mom. Any remaining worry lines will disappear once she's settled into a loving home and nestled in loving arms! She can live with children over age 10 and another dog based on compatibility (or be your one and only!). She has done very well in the rescue where she lives with nine other dogs! On her first day, she walked right into the mix without issue. On the other paw, when out for walks she can be picky about dogs she likes, however her foster mom is working with her and her new person will need to use the same effective tips and tricks to keep her on track. A behavior specialist confirmed Everleigh is dog-selective, fancy speak for choosy, and not aggressive on leash. She will however go after cats so ixnay on the elinefays. What's most important for this darling is to become an integral family member. Please apply to foster, foster-to-adopt, or better yet adopt her. You can't go wrong with such a sweetheart!
