Dottie & her sis were found starved at Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park. They are now healthy and vetted. Their DNA test showed they are 50% Great Dane and 50% Great Pyrenees / Australian Shepherd. The vet says their tale is a natural dock, which both Danes or Aussies can carry that gene. They are around 95 lb. Absolutely no cats, and they are perfect size and compatibility for each other and probably for dogs 70 lb or more. They seem fine with medium or large dogs, but Dottie has gone after at least one though I'm not sure why. She would probably be just fine as an only dog as she wants to be next to her person all the time. They ride well in a vehicle, not bad on leash, and would need a 6-ft fence. They seem to be housebroke. They sit on command and seems as if they may have known other commands. They are very bonded, but quite a handful if trying to handle at the same time. They do not have to go together, but in the proper situation they would be a beautiful pair to have monitor the yard and lay on the sofa ends. They love their toys and to play together.
