General Firecracker is an AKC purebred Bloodhound. He is not registered, but I have AKC paper work that the new home can register. General will be 8 months old on April 28. His vaccinations are up-to-date and I can provide vet records. At his last vet visit on March 31 he weighed 50, which is approximately 20 pounds underweight according to the vet. I have increased his food in hopes of adding weight. He also tested positive for Lyme Disease on April 11, 2025, and is currently on a 30-day course of antibiotics and has been lethargic. He is not neutered. He is a sweet boy and does well with children. I have an 8-year old son. I also have General's brother and littermate, but at times he can be aggressive toward his brother. General also lives with a cat and most of the time pays no attention to her. General is reserved, gentle, sweet, and loves to chew on his stuffies. He loves to snuggle, but also enjoys his own space to stretch out and nap. He is for the most part potty trained, and knows basic commands like sit, home, come, stay, and off. He is also crate trained. Unfortunately, life circumstances have changed, and I can not give General or his brother the life they deserve, and they need to be rehomed.
