Oscar is generally a sweet dog who enjoys playing and relaxing with adult humans. He is crate trained, potty-trained, nondestructive, and very smart. Our main reason for wanting to rehome him is that we have a new baby in the family, and since Oscar has had a reactive episode towards a child (he did not bite, but he did bark, hump, and growl), we are no longer comfortable keeping him in the home. Other reasons are that he has bitten twice: once was a shallow wound requiring no medical attention because he was guarding a sock he'd found, and once was a bite that did not break skin, also over an object he'd found. He is sensitive to sudden noises and will bark at them. He is also sensitive to my husband approaching me or handing me objects and will bark and jump at us when this occurs.
