About Swan

Swan is a 3 year old BRT. Her owner died suddenly a year and a half ago, and the foster family she is with is not in a position to keep her or get her the training she needs on her guarding instincts. She is very loving and gentle with her family and other dogs (not the pack alpha), and is used to being indoors and outdoors. But she needs a place with a large fenced yard, and people who have the resources and understanding to get her the training she needs on nipping strangers who come into her space unannounced. She is very smart and has done very well in the few training sessions she went to. She's used to unleashed hikes in the national forest every day, has okay recall, and can also walk on a leash. Minimal exposure to kids, and no exposure to cats or other farm animals. Please email me and I can fill you in on her full story and needs.
