Miss Kitty was rescued from a sinkhole after Hurricane Debbie hit Georgia in summer 2024. She arrived on the bus to WI and was fostered for a few weeks before I adopted her. She's a typical puppy; full of energy, loves walkies or jogging and playing and is equally a good snuggler. She's past the shoe eating phase and now just runs outside with any shoes she finds. She's a very quick learner and will do anything for a treat. On cats; I have a very unusal cat who taunts her and likes being chased around the house. She has never hurt him but maybe a home without cats? I have a coming 9 year old collie/heeler mix with a torn ccl who loves to play with Miss Kitty. He is another rescue who has anxiety issues and herein lies the problem. I spent months working on his reaction to other dogs while out on our daily walks. It took a year but I got him to stay calm and focused on me while we were out walking. Since I've added Kitty to the house he's gone backwards. I no longer walk them together as if he sees another dog he gets out of hand and will attack Kitty. It's a tough situation and I feel if I have to rehome a dog to keep the peace, Kitty is the best option. So through no fault of Miss Kitty I am looking for a loving home where she can thrive.
