Gretta A739553 12 Year Old Senior Female German Shepherd URGENT Needs Rescue By 04/26/25 Gretta is a very sweet 12 year old #SeniorGermanShepherd that was picked up by Animal Control Officers on 4/16/25 after multiple reports of an elderly dog unable to walk near the Greenleaf garden area in North Long Beach. Gretta arrived to the shelter displaying severe age-related spine & hind-end concerns, with a very stiff gait and symptoms of osteoarthritis & hip dysplasia. Due to overall health concerns and quality of life during prolonged time in a shelter setting Long Beach Animal Care Services is seeking rescue placement by end of day Saturday April 26th 2025, should her condition deteriorate further humane euthanasia may be elected sooner.
