About Elroy

Meet Elroy! Elroy is a 9 year old Mini Schnauzer who loves being around his human. He is very polite and loving but has quite a serious side as well. I imagine he was once a general in the military but he's retired now haha! He loves to play with stuffed toys and occasionally retrieve a ball but mostly he likes to just hang out. He is house broken and communicates when he wants to go out. He is a grumbler and a barker and being deaf he just sort of makes noises and they're very cute and he doesn't let anything get him down! He's working with less teeth than he used to have prior to his dental surgery but he's adapted to that well also and loves his food! Fun fact: his favorite show is Columbo. Now a little about his background...Elroy had an elderly owner who had passed away. Poor Elroy had been abandoned after this sad event and was found wandering the streets of his neighborhood, stumbling from malnourishment and dehydration. A good Samaritan took him to the local shelter. That was a scary place for this guy. He has been through so much these past several months but now is finally at the time where he is ready to start searching for his forever family.
