About Bayou

This 1-year-old, 70-lb gentle giant is still figuring the world out, but he's making great strides-literally! Bayou can be shy in new places and a little unsure on leash, but give him time, and you'll see a goofy, playful pup start to shine through. He loves to run, sniff, and check in with his people once he's comfortable. Bayou plays hard and would do best with another dog who can keep up with his rough-and-rowdy style. If you've got patience, a calm home, and maybe a pup buddy, Bayou's ready to build his confidence by your side.
