About Fitz

Please welcome Fitzgerald 'Fitz' to ARK Charities! Fitz is 13 months young, 65lbs and is a gentle 'old soul', sweet, mellow and wise and wise beyond his years. He is fostering with our dear friend, Lisa, and living with her 4 German Shepherds and Pomeranian, who thinks he is a GSD . It's a happy mix and he is great with everyone. Fitz gets along with, big and small dogs, cats, babies and all humans. In new environments, Fitz can be a little shy but once he knows he is safe, he will show all of his beautiful personality. His foster Mom tells us he is a real gentleman with amazing house manners: potty trained, no counter surfing, doesn't jump on family or house guests, only chews toys and he isn't a barker and takes treats oh-so-gently. His foster Mom tells us he is a potato, but we think he is just so grateful to finally known he is safe and loved. He will reward his person and family with soft kisses and he enjoys getting kisses, hugs, and belly rubs.
